Experience Exercise as Medicine at LeisureFit Melville

Entering the stages of life means there comes a point where joints and muscles don’t bend and move like they used to anymore. Which is why there is great importance in taking care of your physical health as you age to make sure that even at 60 years old or older, you’re still able to move it and groove it like you haven’t aged a day.

As part of Melville City’s Seniors Week 2022 (from 7th to 9th Novembre), a special exercise program has been organized to help seniors understand how physio and physical activities in general help improve their health.

“Exercise as Medicine” will be held this coming 7th November, 2022 at the LeisureFit Melville center from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM ending with a light morning tea. Local physiotherapist Beth Frame will introduce some light exercise to participants with their Sit-to-Fit and Active Light classes while educating them on the benefits of exercise as we get older.

The event is FREE and welcome for all abilities. To join the event, participants are required to register here.
